Very friendly and honest, does all he says he will do, and goes the extra effort to make sure your auto is 100%. His services are priced very fairly and a lot lower than the manufacturer's repair shops. I've used him for 3 family autos and a couple of service trucks over the last few years.

My son paid for the work. I was a little bit worried that they might try to take advantage of the situation since he is a clueless college student. He has now hired another mechanic. The mechanic is excellent. He is very busy. He does good work and guarantees his work. He keeps our car running in excellent condition. He doesn't have a fancy storefront or anything like that, but he's grown and upgraded a lot lately. He now has an alignment machine, too. He is ASE certified. He provides great service at very reasonable prices. He guarantees everything and stands behind his work. He's what I would call a true business person and is in it to do good work and help people.

The original bill was $735.08; with Angie's discount the bill was $624.81. I went back to him a second time, but didn't have the information in front of me at the time. Our daughter is a student at FGCU and one night her car just simply stopped running WHILE she was driving. Since we are not from Ft. Myers we had no idea who to call for towing or for service. We joined Angie's list hoping that it would help us find an honest person. We were right! We found Jim at Jim's Automotive. He told us of the tow company to call, he took care of the tow bill and just added it onto our bill with him. That made it much easier since we are 3 hours away and dealing with all this by phone. He checked out our daughters car and called with an estimate, did the repairs, and then upon our request, fulling inspected the car for any other items needing attention. He called back with a few odds and ends and fixed everything VERY REASONABLY! My husband and co-workers were shocked at the work that was done and how low the final bill was. He explained everything and we found him to be very honest and reliable. I am keeping his number in case we have any other issues during our daughters stay in Ft. Myers. We only wish he wasn't so far away from us! WE ARE VERY HAPPY PARENTS!

I was visiting in Fort Myers, and my car began making a clunking noise from the rear suspension. After finding Jim's on Angie's List, I called them on a Monday morning, and he told me to bring the car by that afternoon. I did, and when I got there, he had Mitch look at it. It took Mitch less than 10 minutes to figure out the problem, which was the rear sway bar links. In order to fix it, they would need to special order the parts, which they did. I returned the next day at the appointed time, and they did the work while i waited. The price they charged was a couple of dollars less than the estimate they had provided me the day before, and then with the Angie's List discount, it was 10% less than that.

I've a very tough critic on auto repairs services. I am very happy with their service, and will take my car there again.
